Learners Licence

  1. Evidence as to correctness of age and Address (if the proof is common for Address and Age, only one document required, else separate document for proof of Address and age is required)

    1. Aadhar card.

    2. Electoral roll/Election card.

    3. Life Insurance Policy

    4. Passport

    5. School Certificate

    6. Birth Certificate

    7. Payslip issued by any office of central or state or local body

    8. Certificate granted by a registered medical practitioner not below the rank of civil surgeon as to the age of applicant

    9. proof of legal presence in India in addition to proof of residence in case of foreigners

    10. In case of absence of any of above documents, Licencing Authority may accept Affidavit sworn before an Executive Magistrate or Notary Public or First Class Judicial Magistrate as evidence of age and address

    11. In case of foreigners, proof of legal presence in India in addition to proof of residence is required.


  1. Form 2 - Form of Application for Learner’s Licence Or Driving Licence Or Addition of a New Class of Vehicle Or Renewal of Driving Licence Or Change of Address Or Name

  2. Self declaration as to the physical fitness as appended to Form 2

  3. Medical Certificate in Form I-A (in case of application to drive a transport vehicle or the applicant’s age is more than 40 years)

Learner’s licence to Physical challenged persons

  1. Application referring to Medical Board

  2. Evidence as to correctness of age and Address (if the proof is common for Address and Age, only one document required, else separate document for proof of Address and age shall be submitted)
